Falling was the worst.
After I found him, and felt him whithering under me,
I saw the conflicting feelings in his eyes.
I thought I could change him.

After I tried to fix him, and
he changed in a bad way,
I felt the ground beneath me slam hard against my body.

I felt broken.
It broke. The love.
It broke. The bond.
I closed my eyes, and let the pain take over.

Falling was the worst.
The strings of the bond dangled,
flying in the wind and taunting me with what used to be there.
It was free, but I didn't want to be free.
I wanted to be fix.
I wanted to be loved.

Then he came along.
His smile, it moved something inside of me.
He took my hand, not at all freaked,
not even interested in them,
and walked with me.

He was caring, he was kind, he was patient.
Not at all what I expected. As open as I was,
as broken as I felt, I didn't think it'd be easy,
easy to fix, easy to fall, easy to love again.
He took my hands inside his, and they fit.

Falling was the best.
It felt like flying, feeling him in my arms,
allowing me to love him, gracing me with his prescense.
His smile made my heart soar, his laugh made my heart race.
His kisses made me soft, his tears made me strong.
I needed to be strong, I had to keep fighting for him.

Falling was the best.
His voice, he sung softly to me, with me.
His voice, it healed me. Earsed the past,
took away my heart, and replaced it with love.
His voice, his scales, his smile, his eyes...
It gave me happiness, the happiness I've been searching for.

Falling was the best.
As long as I always end up in your arms,
in your heart.
I'll catch you as well.
Just let yourself fall.
